When registering, please make sure you select the location that works best for your family. Class availability may vary by location and age group.

We provide all the art materials and equipment needed for class, as well as aprons for children.
We do recommend that children wear comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little messy.
Although we use aprons and take care with clothing, art can sometimes find its way onto sleeves, shoes or other areas — especially when children are fully immersed in the creative process!
Our program is designed to give children a broad and engaging introduction to the visual arts.
Rather than focusing on just one technique, students have the opportunity to explore a wide variety of materials, techniques, artistic styles and creative approaches. This allows children to discover what they enjoy most and gradually develop their own artistic interests.
As students grow and their skills develop, they can move toward more specialized learning.

We believe that children should first have the opportunity to explore, experiment and discover their artistic voice before deciding where they want to specialize.
Our programs are designed for children (from 5 y.o.) and teens of different ages and skill levels.
We place students into groups based on a combination of age, experience and artistic development, rather than age alone.
If you’re not sure which group is the best fit for your child, contact us and we will be happy to recommend the most appropriate option.
Our group art classes are $35+HST per class.
Individual classes are $50+HST per class
Monthly tuition depends on the number of classes scheduled in that particular month. Some months have four classes, while others have five.
This means your monthly payment may vary from month to month rather than being one fixed monthly amount.

We accept payment by:
Tuition is paid monthly, based on the number of classes scheduled in that month.
Payment for the month is due at the beginning of the month.
We understand that children sometimes cannot attend a scheduled class.
If you give us at least 24 hours’ notice, we will offer available make-up class options and you can choose a suitable time from the available slots.
If we do not receive 24 hours’ notice, the missed class is considered used and cannot be refunded or made up.
Make-up classes are subject to availability and must be scheduled within the available make-up period.
Yes! We offer trial opportunities when space is available.
A trial class is a great way for your child to meet the teacher, experience our creative environment and see whether the program is a good fit before committing to regular classes.

To register, please contact us and complete our Registration Form and Agreement & Waiver.
We will then confirm the available class, location and schedule for your child.
Because some groups have limited spaces, we recommend registering as early as possible.
Absolutely! One of the special traditions of The Arts House is our Annual Student Art Exhibition, held at the end of the school year in June.
Students have the opportunity to display their artwork publicly and celebrate everything they have accomplished throughout the year.
The exhibition also includes student awards and a People’s Choice vote, giving families and visitors the opportunity to vote for their favourite artwork.
We believe exhibiting children’s work is an important part of their artistic development — it helps them learn how to present their work, feel proud of their achievements and celebrate the creative process.
Our schedule follows our studio calendar rather than automatically following the school calendar.
Statutory holidays: No regular classes.
PA days and school breaks: Classes will be offered as scheduled.
Any changes to the regular schedule will be communicated to families in advance.
Yes, whenever space is available.
We accept new students throughout the year, and we will do our best to place your child into a group that matches their age, experience and current skill level.
If the appropriate group is full, we can add your child to our waitlist and contact you when a space becomes available.
